Electroinsulating joints for gas pipelines

Electroinsulating joints for gas pipelines are installed for protection from underground “floating” currents, induced currents from power lines, other sources that influence the reliability, safety and service life of the gas pipelines.

Advantages:

  • Maintenance support is not needed (except coating) during whole specified service life
  • Specified service life is 30 years
  • Its design eliminates the possibility of the seal failure because it doesn’t have connection joints
  • Climatic category UHL according to GOST 15150-69, surrounding air temperature from —60 to +50°C
